Welcome to the wonderful challenge of Messianic and biblical training at Messianic Bible Institute-Yeshiva of Hampton Roads. Our school allows students to achieve degrees in Bible, Theology, Messianic or Rabbinic Studies through distance education. Most of the contact with our students is maintained online through e-mail. 

The Messianic Bible Institute-Yeshiva was formed to serve the unique need of those who feel especially called to Messianic studies and leadership, but cannot attend on-site classes.

MBI Yeshiva is both a Bible Institute and a Yeshiva. Yeshiva is the Hebrew word for an institute of formal religious study. This means that we approach biblical instruction from a Hebrew perspective, and that we include Jewish tradition and sensibilities in our understanding. We are Messianic, which means we see the whole of the scriptures as a treatise concerning the work of Messiah Yeshua, and the redemption of Israel as a remnant from among mankind. The study texts used do not always totally agree with our specific doctrines, however, we believe in the main they offer information worthy of instruction. Our instructors usually attempt to inform their students of areas where they feel a study text has erred or varied from our standard. Our students are not required to agree with the texts or with the doctorine of the Yeshiva.

Each level of study offered is unique in strategy and content, but classical in academic style. You will find that the credit requirements, course descriptions, tuition, and conferred degrees are in line with accepted academic guidelines.
