SECURITY At MBI Yeshiva we recognize and respect the importance of maintaining the privacy of our students and the users of our website. Below we describe why we gather customer information, what information we collect, how we collect it, what we use the information for and how you can instruct us if you prefer to limit the use or disclosure of that information. We maintain very strict privacy and security standards for our students that were created to protect your personal information. We apply the same rules to former students as current students. All of our students must log in to the student union before they are permitted to gain access to the student roster. You must enter your MBI Yeshiva username and enter your password in order to log in to the student union. Ultimately, you are responsible for keeping your password secret, which means that you should not tell anyone what your password is. Why do we gather information? We gather personal information about you to allow us to process your enrollments, to provide an enhanced and personalized academic experience, to contact you from time to time regarding products and services that might be of interest to you and to provide you information about us, as well as to comply with securities and other laws. What types of personal information do we gather? We collect nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources: (i) the Yeshiva admission application and other forms that you complete with MBI Yeshiva for any of our services; (ii) any information you enter on our website or give us in any other way, including information about your transactions and experiences with us, our affiliates and others; (iii) information (if any) we receive or collect from other sources, such as a consumer reporting agency; and (iv) information that is collected when you interact with us or our affiliates, such as information gathered through the use of "cookies" and other electronic collection or identifying devices. How we use or disclose information we collect about you: MBI Yeshiva does not disclose any nonpublic personal information about you or any of our former students to anyone (other than to our parent ministry, which abides by, and is subject to the same limitations with respect to the sharing of information contained in this privacy policy), except as permitted by law. We limit the collection and use of your information to the minimum we require to deliver our services to you, including advising you about our products and services in connection with administering our operations. MBI Yeshiva may provide aggregate statistics about our students, traffic patterns, and related site information to outside parties (i.e., third party partners, industry analysts or the media); however, these statistics will not include personally identifiable information or account information about any of our individual students. We may disclose some or all of the information we collect (as described in the preceding paragraphs) to third parties to provide functions on our behalf, such as marketing services, clearing and custodial services relating to your transactions, maintaining and servicing your account or maintaining our website. Other examples of the work they may be doing for us include fulfilling orders, sending postal mail and e-mail, removing repetitive information from customer lists, analyzing data, and providing customer service. These third parties have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purposes. From time to time, we may run special offers and promotions from our third party partners. However, we will not provide any of your personal information to these partners without your authorization or unless you choose to accept or participate in the offer or promotion. In addition, as we continue to develop our operations, we might sell, buy , transfer, exchange, or merge all or a portion of an operation or an operating unit. In such proposed or actual transactions, nonpublic personal customer information may be shared and may be one of the transferred operations assets. How we use "cookies" and other electronic devices. MBI Yeshiva does not use cookies at the present time and will notify you here if that policy changes. (FYI: In the case we may use cookies this will be our policy: A "cookie" is a small file stored on your computer by a website which gives you a numeric user ID and stores certain information about your activity on the site. We use cookies and other electronic devices to establish a user session and monitor certain usage while you are on our site. Your usage is tracked primarily so that we can (i) if necessary, modify the website according to your usage to make the information you are looking for easier to find in the future, (ii) maintain sufficient hardware, software and personnel to provide you with a high level of service. We will not let third parties know about certain usage on our site. The cookies and electronic devices passed to you are seamless, do not reveal your personal identity, will not follow you as you surf on to other websites. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but most allow you to instruct your browser to prevent the use of cookies. However, if you disable this feature, certain aspects of our website may not function properly.) Will MBI Yeshiva Use Your Information for Direct Mailings? When you are apply to MBI Yeshiva you consent to receive mailings or e-mails from us relating to our bulletin/newsletter, and new features, services and changes on our website. Only MBI Yeshiva (or people working on our behalf and under confidentiality agreements) will send you these mailings. These are necessary to make sure you have the latest information you need to complete your academic acheivement. Security We restrict access to personal information about you to those employees who use the information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to guard your personal information. For example, we use secure server software when you place buy or sell orders, transfer money or access your account information, as well as fire walls and secure socket layers, when appropriate. However, “perfect security” does not exist on the Internet and you should take necessary precautions to protect your information. Your Account Information; Corrections If you would like to update or correct information previously provided to us, please e-mail or mail us your new information, which we will add or update to your file.
